Maybe you've heard of a writing journal, maybe you haven't, to most people it seems to be a pretty useful tool. What is it: A writing journal is a journal that contains ideas, thoughts, observations, and pretty much whatever else you want for writing. It's a place for all your ideas to be found in one place. How to use it: You bring it with you everywhere, work, outings, even around the house, it's supposed to be on you at all times. You can sit and watch people in a park and write down ideas for character appearances, habits, anything. or you can use it for when an idea pops in your head. Finding the right one for you: If you're using it right, you will need multiple over your life. So if the first one you buy ends up not working right its okay.
